Summer 2026 will look a little different at Perry Lake…

Starting this summer, USACE Perry Lake will be reintroducing day use fees in the form of an activity pass for the following boat ramps.

Rock Creek Boat Ramp
Slough Creek Bridge Boat Ramp
Devils Gap Boat Ramp
Longview Boat Ramp
Old Town Boat Ramp

Now through September 30, day use activity passes will be $5.00 and available for purchase on Recreation.gov prior to your arrival or via QR code at boat ramp kiosks.

1. At the payment signage, you will need to open your smartphone camera and hold it over the QR code. Your screen will prompt a link. Click on the link, follow it to the website, and fill out the necessary information.
2. You can purchase your day use pass online ahead of time by searching Perry Lake on Recreation.gov from your computer or smartphone, scroll down to “Activities and Experiences,” and select the boat ramp you wish to use.
3. From the Recreation.gov app on your phone, at the bottom of the screen, select the scan icon. Select scan QR code, and we suggest logging into your account if you have one or creating an account to streamline the process. From there, fill out the necessary information.

For those individuals who lack smartphone capabilities or anyone who may use any of the US Army Corps of Engineers boat ramps anywhere in the country more than 8 times in a year, stop by the Perry Project Office at 10419 Perry Park Dr., Perry, KS 66073 and purchase an Annual Day Use Pass for $40.00.

Some things to consider when purchasing a day use activity pass…
• This pass is valid for 1 vehicle until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.
• Passes are non-transferable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
• All visitors utilizing the boat ramp (unless camping) must possess a valid day use pass.
• If purchasing your pass on-site, no printed copy will be available. Instead, your license plate number will be used to confirm compliance. Rangers will confirm vehicle license plate numbers match that of a valid pass for that specific day.
• If purchasing a pass in advance, a printed copy of your pass is recommended for your vehicle.
• This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed.
• You may purchase the USACE Annual Day-Use pass ($40.00) at the Perry Lake Project Office (Tuesday/Wednesday, 8:30am - 3:00pm), and please feel free to contact our office at 785-597-5144 with any questions.
