Fulton Township Treasurer Position

Job description:

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual that lives within the boundaries of Fulton Township, Gratiot County and is a registered voter that has had experience with microsoft office software and handling money. The township uses BS&A receipting, tax & utility software modules, so an ability to learn new software will be an asset. The treasurer should be a team player, that can affectivinely work with others, maintain good communication skills, and conduct business in an organized matter.

Duties

Oversee cash management, including monitoring bank accounts, and the issuance of bills for property taxes and quarterly sewer utility billings.
Lead the preparation of comprehensive monthly financial reports to share with the township board.
Assist with monthly bank account reconciliations
Experience

Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Excel and BS&A modules are a plus.
Excellent skills in financial management with a keen eye for detail and accuracy is preferred.
