Today, on Gold Star Spouses Day, we honor the resilience and courage of our Gold Star spouses.

The path you walk is one of profound sacrifice, yet your strength in honoring the legacy of your fallen loved ones continues to inspire us all. Today - and every day - we recognize the depth of your devotion, the weight you carry, and the quiet heroism you demonstrate in the face of loss.

Please know that you are not walking this journey alone. We stand with you in deep gratitude and unwavering support.

On National Medal of Honor Day, we honor the extraordinary service and sacrifice of those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

We are proud to count ten Medal of Honor recipients among our alumni, including the newest honoree, Chief Warrant Officer 5 Eric Slover, whose actions embody the highest ideals of leadership and selfless service. 🇺🇸

Their legacy is honored in the Medal of Honor exhibit in Jackman Hall, a lasting reminder of what it means to lead with courage.

Today, we remember. We reflect. And we recommit to the values they represent.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for today's Veterans Day Ceremony on the Perkinsville Village Green. It was a truly special morning of remembrance, community, and gratitude.

We were honored to welcome Major General Gregory Knight, The Adjutant General of Vermont, as our keynote speaker — and deeply appreciate the participation of Sheriff Ryan Palmer, State Representative VL Coffin, Pastor Will Hunter, Mr. Wayne Johnson, and the Catamount Squadron Civil Air Patrol, and all who helped make the event possible.

A heartfelt thanks to our community for showing such strong support for our veterans and their families.

Weathersfield remembers. We honor all who served 🙏🇺🇸

Happy 250th Birthday to the U.S. Marine Corps!

Today's shift at our New Haven office coincidently included 3 Marines, who were celebrating the U.S. Marine Corps 250th birthday!

The VSP has a long connection to the USMC, beginning with our first commissioner, Major General, and Medal of Honor recipient, Merritt Edson.

Join us today as we send out a loud & thunderous “Semper Fi” to our extended family in the Corps!
