The Gamma Nu chapter had the amazing opportunity to attend the Mississippi/Louisiana Region Leadership Conference to learn more about ptk and to discover the hidden gems of Meridian, Mississippi! This included dining in the oldest restaurant in Mississippi, touring the MSU Riley Center, riding the Dentzel Carousel, and exploring the Mississippi Children’s museum. 💙💛

Gamma Nu’s officer team attended the the MS/LA Regional Spring Awards Gala, hosted Mississippi State University in Starkville last week.

Our two incredible advisors, Ms.Reeves and Ms. Jellum received Hallmark Awards, as well as the Bernie Warren Outstanding Advisor award for Ms Jellum and the Paragon Advisor Award for Ms Reeves, to recognize their hard work and dedication to the chapter.

Chapter treasurer, Ashlegh Wine, received the Golden Key Award. This is given to one chapter member who fully embodies the four tenets of PTK: leadership, scholarship, fellowship, and service.

On top of that, we all enjoyed the weekend together with the other chapters from the MS/LA region, representing our Gamma Nu Chapter!

The Gamma Nu Chapter hosted a Bulldog Field day, bringing students together for wheelbarrow, sack, and three-legged races. A few good sports from faculty and administration agreed to be “pied” in the face to raise money for the newly developed Bulldog Opportunity Scholarship, designed to help off-set the PTK membership fee for qualified students. Overall, it was a great day of fellowship and a lot of laughs!

PTK and the Honors College at Perk know how to tailgate! It was a great time to share fellowship with our fellow Bulldogs!
By the end of the night, we had shared 12-feet of sub sandwiches and a lot of fun with many Perk students, faculty, and administrators!
