SEVEN SCHOOLS. ONE DISTRICTWIDE STORY OF EXCELLENCE- and a story to share!

The 2026 U.S. News Best Elementary Schools rankings are out, and the Pennridge School District has a lot to celebrate. All seven Pennridge elementary schools rank among the TOP 20% of elementary schools across Pennsylvania. And when we looked more deeply at the statewide results, the story became even more impressive:
These results reflect the work happening every day across Pennridge- our students challenging themselves, our teachers providing high-quality instruction, our staff supporting children in countless ways, our administrators maintaining high expectations, and our families partnering with our schools. We are incredibly proud of what these rankings say about elementary education in the Pennridge School District and even more proud of the people behind the numbers!

• 7 of 7 Pennridge elementary schools rank in Pennsylvania’s Top 20%
• The average Pennridge elementary school ranks in the Top 14.2% in Pennsylvania- ahead of approximately 85.8% of elementary schools statewide
• Since 2024, Pennridge’s average statewide position has improved by 12.1 percentage points

The recognition also stands out across Bucks County!

Among the 13 Bucks County public school districts we reviewed...
- Pennridge is one of only four districts represented within Pennsylvania’s first 239 ranked elementary schools.
- And of the 238 schools appearing before Pennridge first enters the statewide rankings, only 10 come from the other 12 Bucks County districts combined.

But perhaps the part we are proudest to share is this: This is not the story of one Pennridge school. It is a districtwide achievement and celebration!

Pennridge families with students in Grades 4 and 5 are invited to Meet the Instrument Night on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at North Middle School.

Families can choose from two sessions: 6:00–7:00 p.m. or 7:00–8:00 p.m. Students can learn about the Pennridge Band Program, try different band instruments, meet the band directors, and learn how to register.

We hope to see many of our future Pennridge musicians there! 🎶

M.M. Seylar Elementary- PSD Families and staff ONLY! Please share.

Seylar Elementary is currently without power due to a downed tree impacting electrical service in the area. At this time, we have been advised that power is expected to be restored sometime this morning; however, we do not yet have certainty regarding the timing of restoration.

As a result, Seylar Elementary will operate on a two-hour delay schedule today. Bus pick-up times for Seylar students will be approximately two hours later than their regularly scheduled times.

At this time, we understand that approximately 144 residences in the area are also affected by the outage, along with Seylar Elementary. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and remain in contact with the utility provider. If power cannot be restored in a timely manner, it may become necessary to close Seylar Elementary for the day. We will communicate with families as soon as we receive additional information.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this unexpected situation.

A special full-circle moment helped start the first day of school at Bedminster Elementary School- PSD this morning.

While Superintendent Dr. Angelo Berrios was greeting students, families, and staff during arrival, one family stopped to introduce their excited kindergartner, Anthony, to him. Anthony’s dad, Stephen Skedzielwlewski, knew Dr. Berrios from his years as a teacher and principal in another regional school district and wanted to take a moment to reconnect before Anthony began his own Pennridge journey.

Moments like this remind us that schools are built on relationships that often last far beyond a single classroom, building, or school district. What a wonderful way to welcome a new kindergartner, reconnect with a former student, and begin the 2026–2027 school year together.

Welcome to Pennridge, Anthony, and welcome back to all of our Rams!
