Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The countdown is on! Our 4th of July Community Parade is almost here, and we're looking forward to celebrating with all of you.
If you haven't made plans yet, there's still time to join the fun! Families, friends, neighbors, and community organizations are invited to march in the parade or gather along the route to cheer on participants.
Whether you're decorating a bike, wagon, golf cart, stroller, car or simply bringing your patriotic spirit, we'd love to have you participate. Patriot walkers are welcome!
Parade Details
📅 July 4th
⏰ 10:00 AM
📍 Gates Mills Boulevard across from City Hall
Kids, decorate your bikes and line up at the City Hall parking lot at 9:50 AM. If you adults have a vehicle for the parade, please come a bit earlier, by 9:40, so we can line you up. The parade will kick off promptly at 10:00 AMstarting at the head of Gates Mills Blvd! We'll roll up the boulevard together, led by a fire engine, all the way to the midpoint of Gates Mills at Lander Road, before riding back or walking through Gates Mills Linear Park. The vehicles will disperse, officially, at Lander.
The parade will conclude at Pepper Pike Park, and all are welcome to continue your fun at the park, so bring your snacks and picnic baskets. Let the kids enjoy the playground, and spend some time with neighbors before heading off to your family celebrations.
Families, neighbors, and community organizations are all welcome to participate. Whether you're driving a convertible, showing off a classic or historic car, walking your dog, riding a bike, or simply marching alongside friends and neighbors, everyone is welcome.
Prefer to watch? Grab a spot along the parade route and cheer from the sidelines! Parking is also available at Friendship Circle and on nearby side streets.
Help us spread the word by sharing the attached flyer with your friends, family, and neighbors.
Let's come together to celebrate our community and our nation's independence. We can't wait to see everyone dressed in their red, white, and blue!
Come for the Parade. Stay for the Trail.
