Next Saturday, July 4 the library will be closed. Stock up on materials for your travels and enjoyment over the holiday weekend by stopping in during regular hours next week. We hope to see you soon.

Thanks to everyone who came to our summer paint event. We had a full house! Watch for more painting events coming later this year. We'll post photos of tonight's finished paintings soon.

The library board will meet Thursday, June 25 at 10 am to conduct regular business. This is an open meeting and all are welcome to attend.

There is still time to register for our summer paint along sessions. You can choose between Thursday, June 25 at 7 pm or Saturday, June 27 1 pm. The same painting will be created at each session. All supplies will be provided. You may bring to beverage to enjoy while painting. Register by calling 715-442-4932, email [email protected] or just stop in. This will complete our four seasons painting series.

Another busy week coming at the Pepin Public Library. Wednesday morning will be the last day of school visits by elementary classes. Thursday, the library board will meet at 10 am and then at 7 pm will be our first paint along session. Saturday at 1 pm will be our second paint along session. This is in addition to the continuation of the Summer Reading Program that goes through July. Stop by for a visit or participate in any special program. Tomorrow, Saturday, June 20 is the summer solstice. Learn more about the solstice, astronomy, and so much more using BadgerLink. Go to the library's website https://pepinpubliclibrary.org/ and scroll to the BadgerLink image, click an access databases, full text articles and encyclopedia entries. This resource is an excellent place to start your research and learning.

Payton will be at the library on Saturday, June 20 at 11:30 am for our latest youth program. She'll be featuring birds of Wisconsin and everyone can create a bird feeder. This free program is sponsored by UW-Extension, 4-H, AmeriCorp and the Pepin Public Library. All supplies will be provided. Come join the fun!
