Peotone High School would like to extend our deepest appreciation to all of our Scholarship Sponsors! During last evening’s graduation ceremony, the final scholarships were awarded. Congratulations to all of the students whose hard work, dedication, and efforts earned them these scholarships. We are proud of your accomplishments and grateful for the support of our sponsors and community in helping make these opportunities possible!
The Peotone American Legion winners were William Giese and Autumn Regal.
The Peotone American Legion Auxiliary winner was Mallory Schroeder.
The following students were awarded Peotone Community Dollars for Scholars Scholarships:
The David Dralle Sr. Memorial Scholarship and the Irma Dralle Memorial Scholarship donated by Greg and Dave Dralle in memory of their parents. This year’s recipients are Mallory Schroeder and Emma Orzel.
This year’s Peotone Township Scholarships go to Isabella Denny and
James Hoffman
The recipients of the Old Mill Soccer Association Scholarships are Chelsea
Bennett and Nate Wehrmann.
This year’s First Community Bank and Trust Scholarships go to Peyton
Bisping and Caleb Greenquist.
This year’s recipient of the Pearl Chrysler Dodge Jeep & Ram Scholarship
is Allie Werner.
The recipient of the Ralph and Jeanne Oliver Memorial Scholarship is
Olivia Pena.
The recipient of the Terry’s Ford of Peotone Scholarships is Sophia
Klawitter.
The Nichole Schultz Memorial Scholarship goes to Christian Schneitter.
The Nadler Scholarship donated by Drs. Jay and Yvonne Nadler goes to
George Dalen.
The recipients of the Don Hoffman Family Scholarships are Shannon
Bennett and Tucker Cain.
The Peotone Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is awarded to Avery
Lenz.
The first three Jane Smith Scholarships go to Kaylee Ader, Jacob Brasel
and David Tomzczyk.
The Carol J. Johnson Scholarship in memory of Lee and Jean Johnson
goes to Autum Regal.
The next two Jane Smith Scholarships are awarded to Sofia Martinez
Villarreal and Meghan O’Connor.
The Roger Bunte Memorial Scholarships donated by his family are
awarded to William Giese and Tenley Oliver.
The final two Jane Smith Scholarships go to Olivia Smaga and Cora
Giordano.
And lastly……
The Coach Wise Scholarship, donated by Andrew and Aaron Wise, in
memory of their father, long time teacher and coach for the Peotone School
District, is David Tomczyk.
