Last night’s 75th Anniversary Celebration was absolutely incredible! ✨

It was a beautiful evening filled with unforgettable memories, heartfelt moments, and an incredible celebration of 75 years of Peoria Friendship House serving our community. The entire evening was truly stunning, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.

To our sponsors, donors, volunteers, staff, board members, committee members, guests, and everyone who played a part—thank you! Your generosity, dedication, and support made this night one we will cherish forever.

Here’s to 75 years of hope, service, and community—and to an even brighter future ahead!

The Peoria Friendship House Garden Club provides children with a hands-on learning experience that promotes healthy lifestyles, responsibility, teamwork, and a connection to nature. Through planting, and harvesting vegetables, children learn where their food comes from while developing skills in science, math, problem-solving, and environmental stewardship. The Garden Club also encourages children to try fresh fruits and vegetables. Our students take pride in contributing to their families.

🐙 Under the Sea at Peoria Friendship House! 🦈

Our Peoria Friendship House students spent an exciting week exploring the ocean through STEAMS!

Students dove into hands-on activities that brought ocean science to life, including:

🎨 Jellyfish Art – creativity met marine life!
🛢️ Oil Pollution Cleanup – students learned about the impact of pollution on our oceans and explored ways to help clean it up.
🐙 Octopus Engineering – discovering the amazing world of one of the ocean’s most fascinating creatures.
🦈 Shark Buoyancy – learning how sharks and other sea creatures move and stay afloat in the water.

Through creativity, science, engineering, and teamwork, our students discovered that learning can be an adventure!

At Peoria Friendship House, we’re giving students opportunities to explore, discover, create, and dream BIG!
