What a great service opportunity!

TEENS/TWEENS - Need Volunteer Hours? Wed. June 17th RSVP Required. Meet at 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Sunrise Mountain Library. Teen session at SML and then head to Walmart to shop.

Our morning begins with a session at Sunrise Mountain Library at 9:30 a.m. with a 20 minute overview of the Let's Kick Hunger program focusing on the Summer 2026 needs of Valley View Food Bank. Afterward our group with head to Walmart/Lake Pleasant - where are tween and teens will be tasked with shopping for Valley View Food Bank. Each participant will be given a $50 budget to shop for meal makers for VVFB. The session will conclude with a summary meeting at Walmart to discuss the shop. Parents are encouraged to sit in on the discussion, help transport their kids to Walmart but kids will shop independently. Students may earn volunteer hours and leadership/project experience signed by the Inspire Project.

💙We are incredibly grateful to the sponsors for making The 10th Annual Shred Event possible on 4-25-26! A special thank you to Councilmember Jon Edwards with the City of Peoria, Arizona Government. Thanks to your partnership, we were able to serve 155 vehicles and help our community safely dispose important documents.

🌟Mark your calendars for our Free Shred Event on Saturday, April 25th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

We will be located near the Walmart at this address: 21655 N Lake Pleasant Parkway in Peoria, AZ.

Bring your sensitive documents and let us help you safely dispose of them with secure on-site shredding!
