Starting this week, the City of Peoria will begin an approximately 8-week asphalt preservation project on select multi-use pathways and trailhead parking lots.

📍 Work areas include:
• New River Pathway (Northern Ave → Greenway Rd)
• Skunk Creek Pathway (Rio Vista Park → 75th Ave)
• New River Trailhead parking lots at Westbrook Village & Fletcher Heights

Trail users should expect temporary closures and detours. Please follow posted signage and avoid closed areas for your safety.

Construction Notice:

Intersection improvements are coming to Lake Pleasant Pkwy & Deer Valley Rd starting in May. Expect lane reductions and shifting traffic during work hours as crews add new turn lanes and make median modifications.

In May, the city’s contractor, ASR Construction, will be making improvements to the Williams Booster Pump Station located at the southeast corner of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Williams Road. The project will increase the pump station capacity, as well as rehabilitate and replace aging equipment to ensure water system reliability.

Residents adjacent to the facility may hear construction noise during work hours. We anticipate that sometime in July, there will be overnight work at the facility for a few nights. Once that work has been scheduled, all residents within 500 feet of the site will be notified.
