Medicare will not call to verify your Medicare number. They will also never threaten to cancel your benefits if you refuse to give it to them. This is a sign that the caller is a scammer. If you get a call asking for your Medicare number, hang up.

If you did give out your Medicare number, don't panic. Contact the SMP to report it and get help on the next steps.

Friday, we celebrated National Senior Citizens Day! 💙

Older adults are the storytellers, mentors, caregivers, volunteers, leaders, and neighbors who help make our communities stronger. Their experiences, wisdom, resilience, and contributions deserve to be recognized—not just today, but every day.

Here’s to celebrating the older adults in our lives and creating communities where everyone can continue to connect, contribute, and thrive.

Thank you for all that you have given—and all that you continue to give. 💙

Our community is better when we come together! 💙

From social gatherings and educational opportunities to activities, celebrations, and time spent simply connecting with others, community events give us a chance to build friendships, share experiences, and stay engaged.

We’re proud to highlight the wonderful events happening throughout our community and the organizations, volunteers, and older adults who make them possible.

There’s always something happening—come join us, bring a friend, and be part of the community! 🌟

Thank you to New Millennium Institute for hosting a day full of education, music, dancing, and support.
