Even some leftists are all too ready to dismiss the oppression of q***r and trans people. For Marxist-Leninists, however, the working class can and must take up the banner of every struggle against oppression. Shut down detention centers!

Call, write, and visit your U.S. Senators and Representative to demand that ICE detention centers be shut down and no further funding for ICE and border patrol be allocated. The illegal denial of access to elected officials for oversight at Delaney Hall, a private for-profit mass detention center in Newark, NJ, is an alarming abuse of power. Growing reports of inhumane conditions imposed at these prisons on immigrants with no criminal records is unacceptable and requires they be closed.

Vote NO on the $71 billion for ICE and CBP in the reconciliation bill under consideration. Instead, allocate those funds to the basic needs of working-class and immigrant communities to benefit everyone.
