🧑‍🚒 Escambia County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in the 1200 block of Jordan Street on Monday, Aug. 17 at approximately 1:10 p.m.

E17 arrived first on scene with no sign of a fire from the exterior, but upon further investigation found smoke in the home stemming from a kitchen fire. Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire, bringing it under control by 1:16 p.m. Two adult patients received medical care from ECFR and Escambia County EMS and were transported for further evaluation.

Responding units included E17, E6, E7, E16, L12 Safety 4 and BC3. Additional assistance was provided by Escambia County EMS, Florida Power & Light, and Pensacola Fire Department. The Florida Bureau of Fire and Arsons Investigations is investigating the cause of the fire.

Escambia County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in the 800 block of Lucerne Avenue shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, arriving on scene to find smoke and flames showing from a single-story home.

ECFR crews worked rapidly, extinguishing the fire by approximately 10:16 a.m. Firefighters evacuated two occupants from the home in addition to three dogs, who were all accounted for and fortunately uninjured. One occupant was transported by Escambia County EMS to a local hospital.

Due to rapid response and aggressive fire attack, the majority of the fire was confined to the exterior of the home, although there was some minor interior damage. ECFR investigated the origin of the fire and determined it was caused by smoldering items placed in a garbage can near the home.

Responding units included SQ3, E17, E11, L12, E1, S4, BC3 and BC2. Assistance was proved by Escambia County EMS.

🧑‍🚒 Escambia County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire on Monday, Aug. 17 at approximately 3:49 a.m. in the 4500 block of Martha Avenue, arriving on scene to find heavy flames showing from a single-story home.

ECFR crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire, bringing it under control by 4:13 a.m. Despite a quick response and rapid water application, the fire caused extensive damage throughout the home, resulting in a complete loss. No one was injured from the fire.

Responding units included E11, E16, E17, SQ3, E1, L12, Safety 4, BC2 and BC3. Additional assistance was provided by Escambia County EMS, Florida Power & Light, and Fire and Emergency Services Gulf Coast L34. The Florida Bureau of Fire and Arsons Investigations is investigating the cause of the fire.
