Last week I traveled to the Southwest. I had the opportunity to visit the University of Arizona, Arizona State Univeristy, and the University of New Mexico. Top notch students - I will also add that Arizona State had a MIDN ace the interview at Naval Reactors just this week. And Arizona and New Mexico will both have MIDN represent at Naval Reactors next week! See you both then.

Last Week I made my way out to California and visited the NROTC units at UCLA, USC, San Diego University and San Diego State University. Thanks to MIDN at UCLA, USC and San Diego for taking me around your campus. It is very clear you take great pride in your schools (although which school is the best provides for great debate). I enjoyed the great weather and sharing submarine stories. We'll see you in DC!

Seawolf Class - The best of the best.
However, the effectiveness of any submarine is defined by the ability of the crew to operate it.
The Virginia Class and its trained Sailors provide for the best fast attack submarine force in the world.

The only thing that killed the Seawolf class was the cost.
