☕💙🧡A BIG thank you to 7 Brew! 🧡💙☕

Our Workman Middle School faculty and staff got an extra boost today thanks to 7 Brew, who stopped by with coffee and energy drinks! 🎉⚡

We are so grateful for local businesses that take the time to show our educators a little love and appreciation. You definitely made our day a little brighter—and a lot more caffeinated! ☕💙

Thank you, 7 Brew, for thinking of the Workman Middle School family! 🐾

🧡💙 WE DID IT, JAGUARS! 💙🧡

Today, we celebrate an incredible milestone…

Workman Middle School is officially a B School!

This accomplishment belongs to every student who showed up each day ready to learn, pushed through challenges, stayed focused during testing, and refused to give up.

It belongs to our teachers who poured their hearts into every lesson, our staff who supported students every step of the way, our families who encouraged learning at home, and our community that believes in Workman.

This isn’t the finish line—it’s proof of what’s possible when Jaguars work together.

Thank you for believing in our school and in each other.

Congratulations, Jaguars! The future is bright, and we’re just getting started.

💙🧡

An email of appreciation to principal Derrick Thomas from a proud Workman Middle School parent:

"Dear Mr. Thomas,
I am so proud of you, admin, the teachers and all of the students.

My oldest daughter started at Workman the same year you did. She's over at Washington now, but my middle just promoted today and my youngest still has 2 more years with Workman.

When we moved here from California all of our neighbors warned us not to send our daughters to Workman. It was the middle of the school year, school choice had closed and we didn't have private school money. We sent our daughter to Workman and at the time it was a "D" school. I wasn't too concerned because I am an involved parent who has always believed education starts at home.

I have been blown away by Workman. I've never seen a more dedicated Principal- my kids come home telling me about pep talks you gave their class before the band performance or the big test. You truly inspire you students. You inspire your staff as well.

Watching you turn this school around has been an absolute pleasure. You have hired the best of the best teachers and managed more bumps in the road than should have been expected.

I am proud to have my I love Workman sign in my yard so all my neighbors who warned me against Workman can see it. My oldest at Washington has maintained a 3.7 and is in several honors and AP courses. My middle daughter will start Washington next year in honors and AP courses, she also got all 5's on her FAST and EOC algebra this year. My youngest will be at Workman for the next 2 years and she got all 5's on the end of year FAST. None of my children's success would be possible without Workman and without you as their leader.

This email has turned out lengthy and a bit cheesy, but I truly mean it. I hope you have a great summer and I'll see you next year!

Kind Regards,
Annabelle Kennedy "
..so, when it comes to your child's education, choose the FIRST CHOICE for families, Escambia County Public Schools. Forget the tired, inaccurate OLD narratives and experience it for yourself.
