Week 9 of our fun series "Let's Clear it Up." If you're new here, hi! We started a fun series called "Let's Clear it Up." Sometimes things can get confusing and you may be thinking something is for one thing, but it turns out it's for something completely different. So "Let's Clear it Up!" >>>Park entrances and what you can and can't drive on. So today, I had the pleasure of watching a car pull in through the very tiny entrance on the "Lakeview" side of the park....you know the one where it's for authorized vehicles only...and drive all the way down the walking path by the river. Unfortunately I was too far away to catch up to them, but it made for a great..."Let's Clear it Up Moment." Soooo the only entrance that the public may use is our historical main entrance...see picture. π We do have entrance/exits on both sides of the park (river side), but they're strictly for township employee/emergency vehicle use only. We also have the entrance to the walking path by the main parking lot...again....it says authorized vehicles only, but every once in a while you'll catch a rogue vehicle taking a cruise.. Sometimes you sit and wonder what these people are thinking when they're literally the ONLY car on the path....lol π The only time you are allowed to drive into the park is when you have rented a section of the park (you will have a permit) and you need to drop off your stuff. You can do just that, drop off and then go park in the parking lot. I hope this clears it up! π€ͺπ Make sure to follow our page and stay tuned for week 10!
