The 2026 Torch Run for Special Olympics was held this past Friday. Officers from Pennsauken and many other jurisdictions carried the torch from Pennsauken Police Department to the Burlington County Institute of Technology. More than 32 miles were covered by the runners and Pennsauken Police Department used their No Shave April contributions to donate $1020 for the Special Olympics Program. 🚨 Community Notice 🚨

The Pennsauken Police Department has recently become aware of an unsanctioned party/BBQ that is being promoted to take place at the Sycamore Ridge Apartment Complex.

Please be advised that this event has not been approved by Sycamore Ridge management and is not authorized to occur on the property. As a result, there will be an increased police presence in and around the complex to ensure the safety of residents and maintain order.

Anyone considering attending should be aware that individuals who are not authorized to be on the property may be subject to enforcement action, including being directed to leave the premises and potential criminal charges if they refuse.

If you have received additional information regarding this event or have concerns related to it, please contact the Pennsauken Police Department.

We appreciate the community’s cooperation and attention to this matter as we work together to keep our neighborhoods safe.
