Pennsauken Public Schools Awarded $60,000 LIFT Grant!

Pennsauken Public Schools is excited to announce that we have been awarded a $60,000 Literacy Initiative for Families and Thriving Communities (LIFT) Cohort 2 Grant from the NJ Department of Education.

This grant will expand our Pennsauken Babies Initiative and family literacy programming for children from birth to age 3, providing families with books, literacy kits, workshops, and community-based literacy events in partnership with the Pennsauken Public Library and local organizations.

Together, we are building stronger literacy foundations, empowering families, and supporting our youngest learners before they enter school.

Cadets Commemorate Bataan Death March

Cadets from Pennsauken High School’s AFJROTC honored history by taking part in a Bataan Death March commemoration.

Marching 14 miles around Cooper River Park, they paid tribute to the American and Filipino soldiers who endured unimaginable hardship during World War II.

Through this powerful experience, cadets built leadership, resilience, and respect for the sacrifices of those who came before them. Each cadet proudly earned their Bataan Death March ribbon.

Well deserved!
