Penngrove Elementary School

Penngrove Elementary School Penngrove School is a small school in a country setting. Topping out at just over 400 students, our community is close-knit and involved.

It is the common theme to see parents in the classrooms and on campus volunteering. We have an active PTA and pride ourselves on our parent involvement. At Penngrove School, we have an amazing recess program called Recess Renaissance. Recess Renaissance includes stations and activities such as" Freddy's Creation Station which is a builders club, if you will. It has everything from scrap wood, tool

s, sequins, yarn, or jewels! There is also a "Mileage Club". Parents facilitate kids running the track, marking laps for them and keeping records throughout the year. Kids have the opportunity to earn a t-shirt for completing a marathon by running an accumulative 26.2 miles! One more group affiliated with Recess Renaissance is our "Knitting Club". Kids come here during their lunch recess to knit, crochet, finger knit or more. Penngrove School is in the Petaluma City School District.

Celebrate next week with a full week of themed dress-up days! Whether you’re traveling through time or showing off your school pride, we can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity.
Theme Details
* Monday: Time Travel Day Go “wibbly-wobbly” and pick any era! Whether it’s a poodle skirt from the 50s, neon from the 80s, or a futuristic look from the year 3000, the choice is yours.
* Tuesday: Animal Safari It’s time to get wild. Wear your favorite animal prints, animal ears, or a shirt featuring your favorite creature.
* Wednesday: Panther Pride Join us for our weekly assembly decked out in school colors or your favorite Penngrove gear as we celebrate our community.
* Thursday: Beach Day Summer is almost here! Bring the vacation vibes to school with tropical prints, sunglasses, and beach-ready styles.
* Friday: Class Colors Let’s end the week strong by shining bright in our assigned colors! You can wear your Jog-a-thon shirt or anything that matches your grade:
TK: Grey/Pink | K: Grey/White | 1st: Red | 2nd: Orange | 3rd: Yellow | 4th: Green | 5th: Blue | 6th: Purple
