Congratulations to the Woodridge High School Class of 2026! 🎓🐾

On May 20, our graduates celebrated commencement at Blossom Music Center surrounded by family, friends, staff, and the Woodridge community.

The evening featured speeches from WHS Teacher Beau Schluep, Salutatorian June Kaser, Valedictorian Cameron Bates, and Class President Claire Gregory, along with performances from the Woodridge Band and Senior Ensemble Choir.

One of the most unforgettable moments of the night came when Michael Mami received both his diploma and the Courageous Bulldog Award, earning a standing ovation from the entire crowd and his classmates.

A special thank you to all faculty, staff, and custodial team members who helped make the evening possible, especially Jennifer Tromp and Cyndi Preising for their incredible work behind the scenes.

Congratulations, Bulldogs! Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog. 🐾

🚧 REMINDER: Mercer Family Track Resurfacing Update 🚧

Starting TODAY, the Mercer Family Track at Bulldog Stadium will undergo a full resurfacing project expected to last approximately five weeks.

This is a necessary maintenance project and the FIRST full resurfacing of the track since the original surface was installed in 2006. Due to significant wear and deteriorating conditions over time, this work is important to maintain a safe, high-quality facility for our students and community.

🏃 Used by student-athletes, classes, marching band, and community members year-round
📅 Construction begins May 26
⏳ Estimated timeline: 5 weeks
🚫 Stadium & track closed during construction

🐾 Top Dogs: Woodridge Staff Spotlight – Kathy Robison 🐾

This month, we proudly recognize Kathy Robison as she prepares for her retirement from Woodridge Middle School this June.

For many years, Kathy has been the steady hand, the rock, and the welcoming presence that students, staff, and families could always count on. Through every busy day and every challenge, she brought patience, kindness, professionalism, and calm to WMS.

Her impact on our school community goes far beyond the front office. Kathy has helped countless students, supported families, and been an invaluable teammate to everyone around her.

To say she will be missed is truly an understatement.

Thank you, Kathy, for everything you have done for Woodridge Middle School over the years. We are so grateful for the difference you’ve made in the lives of so many.

Enjoy your retirement and this next chapter — you have more than earned it!
