A repost of last year's write up of the Moshannon Forest Tornado. Today marks the 41st anniversary of the storm.

The tornado hit Parker Dam at roughly 7:45 PM and only remained within the park for about one and a half minutes taking out nearly half of the acreage of the park in that time frame.
