What makes you a conservation-minded hunter?
It’s more than knowing how to hunt.
A conservation-minded hunter understands that hunting is part of a much bigger picture — wildlife, habitat, public lands, and the traditions that connect generations of Pennsylvanians to the outdoors.
It means:
Respecting the land
Understanding the wildlife you pursue
Being a good steward of public and private ground
Respecting other hunters and outdoor users
Being willing to learn
Passing those lessons on to the next generation
That’s what we’re working toward at Parker Dam Hunting Camp 2026.
Whether you're picking up a hunting license for the first time or coming back after a few seasons away, Hunting Camp is about becoming a more knowledgeable, responsible, and conservation-minded hunter.
