A group of homeschoolers from Classical Conversations visited Ashtabula on Wednesday, October 28. They learned about the Louisiana Purchase and Westward Expansion, and they discussed what it was like to travel west with a wagon train. They also made hardtack, which had to be dunked in water to be eaten. A good time was had by all as shown in these pictures.
