Community Safety Reminder for the following days
As colder weather continues and homes rely more on heating sources, the Town of Pembroke Fire Department wants to remind all residents to check and ensure your carbon monoxide (CO), gas detectors and smoke detectors are fully functional and working properly.
Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless gas that can be extremely dangerous and deadly, if not detected early. Properly working alarms can save lives.
If your alarm sounds or you suspect a gas or carbon monoxide issue, get everyone outside immediately and call 911.
Reminders for the next few days/weeks:
📌ONLY rely on reliable sources for information
📌Stay off of the roadways if not necessary
📌Call 911 for emergencies ONLY
📌Make sure you have plenty of supplies at home
✨Remember; we are here to help✨
