There is a water main break on Glass St. between Kimball St. & Turnpike St. Glass St. is currently closed in that area so we are asking that you please avoid the area and seek alternate routes. Crews are on scene assessing the damage. Thank you for your cooperation!

We are so excited to announce the dates for our first Parent/Child Workshop series as part of our becoming a Family Place Library. These workshops are essentially playgroups for young children that will feature one early childhood specialist each week (for example, a speech pathologist or music & movement teacher). A NOTE FROM THE TOWN OF PEMBROKE - OFFICE OF THE TOWN ADMINISTRATOR REGARDING NOTICES OF TAX DELINQUENCIES

If you received a Notice of Tax Delinquencies and Unredeemed Taxes Liens, from the town in January, the last day to pay before the lien process starts is February 22nd.
If the Lien process starts, extra notification charges of $22 will be applied to the delinquent balances for the processing and sending of certified mail (required by law).
If your letter was for a late sewer bill and you made a payment, please make sure to contact the Town at 603-485-4747 (not the Sewer department) to make sure that there is no outstanding balance. Late sewer fees not paid in full become part of the lien notification.

The Pembroke Town Clerks Office is closed until Monday 9/26. This is an unavoidable closure do to Covid protocols. The town hall staff appreciates your patience.
Frustration is understandable when you are trying to get things done, however this is unavoidable.
Please try not to take your frustrations out on the town hall staff, they are doing what they are instructed to do, they don't make the covid rules.
If you insist on yelling at someone, please call one of your elected selectmen, Karen Yeaton, Chair or Sandy Goulet, Vice Chair.
We can get through this together as long as we remember we are in this together.

The Pembroke Budget Committee is looking for residents interested in participating in the Town and School budgetary process.

The Budget Committee is responsible for reviewing proposed Town and School District budgets, assessing impacts to the tax rate, and developing overall budget recommendations for vote at annual Town and School District meetings in March. Budget Committee members are appointed by the Town Moderator.

The work of the Budget Committee runs from mid-October through mid-March, with regular weekly meetings held Thursday evenings (6:30PM at Town Hall) mid-November through early February. Meeting preparation includes review and analysis of Town and School budget-related materials. While municipal budgetary knowledge is a plus, the most important attributes include willingness to learn, ask questions, contribute ideas, and to consider other perspectives with an open mind.
