What a special moment for PCHS Ag!

Mr. Ben Castleberry was named New Advisor of the Year, and the award was presented to him on stage by Ms. Laycie Bunt. This made the moment even more meaningful because Ms. Bunt taught Mr. Castleberry when he was in high school.

This award is nominated by students and is given to an advisor within their first through fifth year of teaching. The winner receives a plaque and $1,000 for their FFA Chapter. This was Mr. Castleberry’s final year to qualify for this specific category, making the honor even more special.

Dr. Stover has made a lasting impact on our students, staff, schools, and community. Her leadership, commitment, and heart for education have helped shape Pell City in countless ways.

We are grateful for all she has given to our school system and wish her nothing but the best as she begins this next chapter.
