⚠️Road Conditions Advisory 🥶

Roads in our direct coverage area and surrounding communities are getting very slick and icy, and conditions will continue to worsen as temperatures stay low.

At these temperatures, brine is not very effective, and roads may look safer than they actually are.

Please stay off the roads unless travel is absolutely necessary.

If you don’t have to be out, don’t be. Let’s not put ourselves—or our EMS, Fire, and Law Enforcement folks—at risk in these frigid conditions.

Y’all stay safe and warm.

We are aware of the Snowmageddon/Ice/Rain/Cold/Wind, etc that is heading our way this weekend.

We know as much as you do - we have a winter storm coming, and that it is unknown exactly when or what it shall bring.

What we also know is this: we signed up to serve and support our community. We have plans in place to provide appropriate resources depending on what the weather dictates.

We will do our best to take care of needs as they arise and are flexible to make adjustments as needed.

Please, plan ahead and have extra food and water available, especially shelf stable items. If you have a secondary heat source, check that it works and stock up on whatever fuel source it needs. Charge batteries and fill your vehicle up with fuel.

Check on your friends and neighbors, especially those with less resources.

Pets and livestock living outdoors may need extra straw and frequent water refills.

Stay safe and be careful the next few days!

2-4 today with Santa, hot cocoa and other treats for the kiddos.

🍪 CALLING ALL COOKIE HEROES! 🍪
We need your elite dessert-delivery skills.

We’re gearing up for Hot Cocoa with Santa & Photos, and we’re looking for donations of cookies, brownies, or any other sweet treats that are easy to nibble while trying not to spill cocoa on your Christmas sweater.

If you’ve got a famous recipe… great!
If you’ve got a store-bought special… also great!
If you burnt the first batch but tried your best… honestly, still great, but maybe scrape the black off and cover with icing? 😂

Drop off your goodies and help us keep Santa sugared up and the kids smiling. Santa's helpers will be at the fire hall Sunday accepting delicious deliveries 8am-2pm when the event kicks off.
Because nothing brings a community together like chocolate chips and questionable self-control.
