The Pelham Police Department is currently investigating the attempted child abduction that took place on Sunday 7/26/26. We are following all the leads that come in and have been staying in contact with the family of the victim. We will not be releasing any details to this at this time as it may be detrimental to the ongoing investigation. If you were at the Dollar General on 7/26/26 around 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and seen anything suspicious please contact the Pelham Police Department between 8 to 5 at 229-294-6001, after hours at Mitchell county 911 at 229-336-2007, or you can call the tip line and leave an anonymous message at 229-336-2078.
