I’ve been remodeling our guest room and wanting to give it a French vibe while keeping the character defining features of the home. The furniture is French Antique so it was important to enhance the vibe and beauty of the room.

I also wanted to include a turn of the century chandelier as our home was built in 1915.

I was so thrilled to find this French turn of the century chandelier online and it complements the room perfectly.

More to come on the new design. 🩷🏠

(Maury County Historical Society) held a Time Capsule ceremony at the new Columbia, TN courthouse currently under construction.

The committee worked tirelessly to ensure many items that represent Maury County TN’s history, it’s cities, people and things were represented.

It was an exciting day! The time capsule is placed in the wall and a plaque will be placed over it indicating that it is to be opened on June 1.2124. Pretty exciting!!

This day is to remember and honor all those who were killed while serving our country in the military during a war. They gave the ultimate sacrifice, their lives, for our freedom.

Our hearts go out to all the Gold Star Families on this Memorial Day. ❤🇺🇸

Look at this beautiful watercolor painting of a 1907 Queen Anne in Maury County, Tennessee. The talented artist is Mary Lehner of .

As often seen in this style of home is the asymmetrical shape, a covered front entrance, and a wrap-around porch. Its siding is a gentle green color with contrasting patterned blue shingles surrounding the home's upper story windows on the front gable with a side-facing shed dormer above. This home boasts irregular roof shapes and combined textures.

This gorgeous home has a stunning octagonal shaped turret with a domed roof and finial to top it off. 🩷🩷
