Last night, 911 Communications dispatched EMS, Pelham Volunteer Fire Department, and Caswell County Sheriffs Office to a Motor Vehicle Accident and advised it was one vehicle overturned with multiple occupants. Pelham Fire Department arrived on scene, quickly triaged the patients, helped treat their injuries prior to EMS arrival, assisted with traffic control and road closures, and provided thorough updates to EMS during our response. The first EMS unit was off the scene in 8 minutes, along with the second EMS unit following closely behind. All patients were transported to the nearest trauma center.

Thank you to all departments involved in this incident. We also would like to highlight the many volunteers that left their homes in the pouring rain to serve their community. We could not do this job without you all. Great teamwork!

🎯 Dry conditions and wind increase fire spread.
🎯 Everyday activities carry more risk right now.

Avoid burning, and be cautious with anything that could cause a spark. Properly dispose of smoking materials such as ci******es. Be extremely careful with machinery and farm equipment when working outdoors.
