✨️ Exciting News from the Pekin Park Board!

We’re working on an upgrade for our wonderful little playground — a brand new drinking fountain! Our current one is over 40 years old, and is no longer in working condition.

🍁 How can you help? By joining us at the 7th Annual Fall Festival!

🍪 Buy Baked Goods
🥪 Buy Lunch …or treat yourself to all three!
🌾 Plus — Flavorful Harvest will be joining us with fresh produce for sale!

All proceeds from pumpkins, baked goods, and lunch will go directly toward our new drinking fountain project!

💛 Want to contribute even more? Baked good donations are always welcome — drop them off at the fire hall on Saturday September 26 by 7pm. And if you’d like to lend a hand, we could use a few volunteers Sunday morning to help unload pumpkins from the trailers.

Small town celebrations are the best! To put one on though takes a lot of time, planning and dedication. Thank you to my fellow Park Board members for all the work they do to make Pekin Days weekend a success!

A huge thank you to all the individuals who step up and help the Park Board throughout the weekend. From hauling tables and chairs to the park, to wrapping potatoes, moving the fire trucks & cleaning the building, prepping and cooking the meal, washing dishes, mopping the floor and all the stuff in between. We are so grateful for each and everyone one of you!❤️
