Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

Members of the Peekskill Police Department Honor Guard, Peekskill Fire Department and Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corp were proud to be present at Monument Park this Memorial Day as our community came together to pay tribute to our fallen heroes.

The Peekskill PBA extends its gratitude to all who have served and continue to serve our nation. May we always remember the true meaning of Memorial Day.

From a day filled with great golf, laughs, food, and camaraderie — this event would not have been possible without all of you. We truly appreciate everyone who contributed to another successful outing and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

The Peekskill Police Benevolent Association proudly congratulates PO Larchevesque on becoming a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE).

DRE School is a highly demanding and intensive program requiring both advanced academic training and hands-on field certification. PO Larchevesque successfully completed rigorous coursework in impaired driving detection, human physiology, and drug categories, followed by extensive supervised field evaluations and demonstrating the ability to accurately identify drug-impaired individuals.

This achievement is especially notable, as only about 1% of police officers nationwide are certified DREs.

This accomplishment reflects his dedication, professionalism, and strong commitment to public safety. As a DRE, PO Larchevesque plays a vital role in identifying and removing impaired drivers from our roadways, helping keep the City of Peekskill safe for all.

We commend his hard work and continued service. Congratulations PO Larchevesque and stay safe!
