Third-grade students completed an activity in Social Studies that was a big hit. Students learned about cultural differences, emotional regulation, and problem-solving using the book "Spaghetti in a Hotdog Bun" by Marie Dismondy. After the lesson was completed, they gave Lucy's favorite sandwich a try! It got mixed reviews, but overall, most students liked it!

🎗️September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month🎗️

To honor the bravery of young fighters and show our support, we are hosting a school-wide door decorating contest centered on hope, courage, strength, and community support.

To match the inspiring classroom doors our teachers are creating at school, we invite our students and families to decorate a door at home to show their support!

How to Participate:
🎗️Decorate: Work with your child to decorate your front door, an interior door, or a porch entry using gold ribbons, signs, or crafts that highlight hope, courage, strength, or community support.
🎗️Submit: Take a photo of your child standing next to their decorated door and email it to [email protected] or [email protected]
🎗️Deadline: Send in all photo entries by Friday, September 18th.

Prizes & Recognition: Winning entries will be featured during our morning announcements! A special treat will be awarded to the winning students' classrooms.

Thank you for your continued partnership in making our school community so supportive. We can’t wait to see your family’s creative entries!
