3rd place (14 min 21 sec): Emma, Ava, Libby, Autumn, Anna, Sophia

Cliffhangers Book Club ended the year with donuts and a rousing game of Roll, Rob, & Read in which students rolled dice, passed, traded, stole, clucked like a chicken, and battled in Paper, Rock, Scissors to end with their favorite book to take home.

Introducing the Library of Things! To encourage curiosity and exploration, SMS students and staff may now check out puzzles, a Beat That! challenge game, giant cupcake cake pan, a ukulele, a ghost hunting kit, and a bird watching kit just as they would a library book.

Thanks to the partnership between Cass County Public Library and the SMS library, we were able to host our biggest chess tournament yet with plans for further expansion. Kellan, Andrew, Yousif, Eligh, Koby, and Ambrose won all four of their games today!

The 73rd Annual Hunger Games have commenced. May the odds be ever in your favor. Twelve teams are competing in an escape room arena over the next month. This event is made possible through the SMS library and Cass County Public Library connection.
