🚧 Waterline Construction Update 🚧

The Town of Pecos City is continuing waterline work at US 285/Cedar Street near Second Street, with additional work planned near Fourth Street as part of the Water Pressure Improvements Project. All construction work in these areas is anticipated to be completed by the end of September.

This project is needed to improve water pressure and reliability throughout Pecos by making improvements to the City’s water distribution system.

What residents need to know:

🚧 Work will continue in the Second Street and Fourth Street areas, and construction activities may take place simultaneously.

🚦 One northbound lane will be closed at a time while construction activities are ongoing. Traffic control signs and barricades may remain in place between construction activities as the project moves through different phases.

🔧 Work includes waterline installation, connections to the existing system, and pavement restoration.

🏪 Businesses in the area will remain accessible during construction.

We know construction can make traffic a bit of a mess, but don’t worry... it’ll be done before GTA VI comes out. 😂🚧 Thanks for hanging in there with us!
