We have received reports of fallen trees and other debris on roadways throughout town. Crews are responding and working to clear these hazards as quickly as possible.

We ask the public to use caution and drive safely when traveling near affected areas. Please slow down, stay alert, and watch for emergency personnel and equipment working along roadways.

Additionally, the US National Weather Service Midland Texas has issued a Flash Flood Warning for central Reeves County and west-central Ward County. Turn Around, Don't Drown — never drive through flooded roadways.

Please continue to monitor local weather conditions and use caution while traveling.

🚧 Seal Coat Project Beginning June 11 🚧

As part of our annual street maintenance program, contractors will be applying seal coat to roadway sections identified as the most affected by traffic and normal wear. Each year, different areas of the city are selected based on condition and maintenance needs. The locations scheduled for this year’s work are shown on the attached map.

During this work, temporary street closures and traffic delays may occur in the designated areas. We appreciate your patience as we work to maintain and improve our city streets!
