Weather Advisory from US National Weather Service Midland Texas: With the summer-like heat expected the next several days, here are ways you can protect yourself and loved ones. If you are on a job site outside, stay hydrated and take breaks in shade as often as possible. If you are wanting to go outdoors, limit strenuous activity, fine shade, and stay hydrated. Be sure to never leave kids or pets unattended in vehicles, look before you lock! Since the elderly and sick are individuals most vulnerable to the heat, be sure to check up on them as often as possible.
