The Blakely Police Department and Blakely Borough Crime Watch would like to invite the community to our 2026 Blakely Police Department Night Out on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Blakely Borough Recreational Complex, 99 Keystone Avenue, Peckville.

This year’s event is focused on bringing the community and law enforcement together in a more personal setting. There will be no parade this year, allowing everyone the opportunity to spend more time meeting and talking with officers and first responders from throughout Lackawanna County.

The evening will include:

• K9 demonstrations featuring K9 Gero
• Lackawanna County SWAT Team
• Taser demonstration
• Representatives from the Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office
• Music, refreshments, pizza, hot dogs, sweet treats, and beverages
• Face painting and activities for the kids
• And much more

We encourage everyone to come out, meet your local officers, ask questions, and enjoy a great evening with the community. We look forward to seeing everyone there and appreciate the continued support of the Blakely Police Department and all first responders serving Lackawanna County.
