This week, we are proud to feature Firefighter Braeden Brantley!

Firefighter Brantley began his career with the Pearl Fire Department on July 8, 2019.

He currently serves on A-Shift at Fire Station #2, where his dedication, experience, and strong work ethic continue to make a lasting impact on both his crew and the citizens of Pearl.

Firefighter Brantley is a Nationally Registered EMT-Basic and has completed extensive training through the Mississippi State Fire Academy, demonstrating his commitment to professional growth and excellence in the fire service.

Outside of the department, Braeden enjoys spending time with his wife, Kaileigh, and their daughter, Alayna.

The City of Pearl is fortunate to have Firefighter Brantley as part of our team. His commitment to serving others and his dedication to the fire service help make our department stronger every day.

He currently serves on C-Shift at Fire Station #1, where his dedication, experience, and strong work ethic continue to make a lasting impact on both his crew and the citizens of Pearl.

Firefighter Reed is a Nationally Registered EMT-Basic and has completed extensive training through the Mississippi State Fire Academy, demonstrating his continued commitment to excellence in the fire service.

Outside of the department, Riley enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their family whenever he is off duty.

Firefighter Davis began his career with the Pearl Fire Department on September 23, 2019, and has proudly served the citizens of Pearl ever since.

He currently serves on B-Shift at Fire Station #1, where his dedication, experience, and work ethic continue to make a lasting impact on both his crew and the community he serves.

Firefighter Davis is a Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic and has completed extensive training through the Mississippi State Fire Academy, demonstrating his strong commitment to excellence in the fire service and emergency medical care.

Outside of the department, JD enjoys spending time with his wife, Maddie, and their daughter, Brooxye.

Lieutenant Derriso began his career with the Pearl Fire Department on March 11, 2017, and was promoted to Lieutenant on April 30, 2022.

He currently serves on A-Shift at Fire Station #1, where his leadership, experience, and dedication continue to make a lasting impact on both his crew and the citizens of Pearl.

Lieutenant Derriso is a Nationally Registered EMT-Basic and is enrolled in paramedic school this fall. He has also completed extensive training through the Mississippi State Fire Academy, demonstrating his strong commitment to excellence in the fire service.

Outside of the department, he is married to his wife, Rhonda, and they enjoy spending quality time with family whenever he’s off duty.

The City of Pearl is fortunate to have Lieutenant Derriso on our team. Thank you for your continued dedication, leadership, and service to our department and community!

Lieutenant Finnegan is a Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic and has completed extensive training through the Mississippi State Fire Academy, demonstrating his strong commitment to excellence in the fire service.

Outside of the department, he is married to his wife, Heather, and they have one daughter, Rory.

Lieutenant Throne began his career with the Pearl Fire Department on March 11, 2017, and was promoted to Lieutenant on February 9, 2023.

He currently serves on B-Shift at Fire Station #2, where his leadership, experience, and dedication continue to make a lasting impact on both his crew and the citizens of Pearl.

Lieutenant Throne is a Certified Mississippi Smoke Diver and a Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic. He has also completed extensive training through the Mississippi State Fire Academy, demonstrating his strong commitment to excellence in the fire service.

Outside of the department, he is married to his wife, Deidre, and they have two daughters, Lakyn and Remi.
