🌪️ Controlled Chaos ✈️🚁⚓🇺🇸

There is no environment on Earth quite like an active flight deck. Aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), U.S. Navy Sailors work in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment where precision is the only option.

From launch to recovery, aircraft carrier flight ops is a symphony of coordinated choreography. The Sailors of the flight deck are the heartbeat of our power projection, working tirelessly in all conditions to ensure the carrier air wing can dominate the skies.

Own the night 🌃⚓️🇺🇸

When the lights go out, the continues to work. Incredible shots of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and USS BOXER LHD 4 launching and recovering aircraft under the stars in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.

Night ops are complex and unforgiving, but our Sailors and Marines are trained to execute with lethal precision. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week—we remain forward, engaged, and ready.

Piercing the night. ⚡🎯

U.S. Marines operate an M240B machine gun during a live-fire exercise aboard USS Portland - LPD 27. Unmatched lethality at sea is essential to deterring aggression and maintaining a secure, free, and open Indo-Pacific.
