Start Smart is a parent-participation program, where the parents learn some of the skills, then helps teach it to their child. A great bonding experience for both! Calling all gamers! There's still time to join in this first eSports series here on base! We want to see who are the best gamers in our military and MWR is teaming up with Hickam to host a tournament to find out! All DoW affiliated personnel are eligible to play, and it's FREE! Like we said, qualifiers are going on now and you can still sign up. Finals will be held on Aug 15 in the Kona Lounge right here on base. With the variety in this series, players of almost every type of game can join in. Enter now before all the spots are taken!

The 2026 MWR Intramural Flag Football League starts this month! Registration will be August 5-17 and is open to all Active Duty, Reservist, Guard, DOW Civilians, Spouses, and Dependents who reports to JBPHH installations (to include: Ford Island, NCTAMS, Barbers Point, Pearl City Peninsula, and Makalapa). Rosters will be due August 17, and the Coaches' meeting will be on August 5 at 1 p.m. at JBPHH Fitness Center. New Fall pool hours begin today! Planning your next swim? JBPHH Aquatics is updating their hours for the fall season beginning Monday, August 3rd. Whether you’re stopping by for an early morning lap swim, lunchtime workout, or open swim, be sure to check out the updated hours of operation below before your visit.

Closed 1300-1430 for Maintenance
Open Swim: 1430-1700
M-TH ONLY- LATE LAP: 1700-1900
