Severe storms are quickly moving east along the Hwy 20 corridor with observed gusts over 70 mph in Independence. Significant wind gusts are possible with these storms as they track east into IL over the next 2-3 hours.

Last night our Mercyhealth REACT crew flew into Pearl City Fire for a helicopter safety class. Fire department personnel learned about landing zone set up, safe operations around a helicopter, and emergency egress procedures. Thank you for having us!
