Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first-ever Community Walk as part of the Pearisburg Together: 2026 Summer Community Series!

Residents and Town staff enjoyed a walk through Pearisburg Town Park while discussing parks, recreation, and library programs, including current participation, challenges, and opportunities for the future.

We were grateful to see both long-time residents and newcomers in attendance, sharing ideas, asking questions, and learning more about the services and programs available in our community. One participant even asked, "When's the next one?"

📅 Our next Community Walk is Saturday, July 18. We welcome suggestions for future locations and topics you'd like to discuss.

Thank you for helping us build a more connected and informed Pearisburg!

🚶‍♀️🌳 Pearisburg Together: Summer Series – Community Walk 🌳🚶‍♂️

Join us this Saturday, June 13 at 8:00 AM for the first-ever Pearisburg Together Community Walk!

Town Manager Adam Poser and Recreation Director Scottie Potter invite residents to take part in a one-mile walk through beautiful Pearisburg Town Park. The walk will start and finish at the King Johnston Community Center.

Along the way, we’ll talk about the future of our parks, recreational programming, and ideas for long-term planning and improvements across the Town’s recreation system.

This is a great opportunity to get outside, enjoy the morning, share your ideas, and help shape the future of recreation in Pearisburg.

Thank you to everyone who participated in another wonderful year of the Pearisburg Festival in the Park!

For 41 years, residents, visitors, volunteers, vendors, performers, sponsors, and Town staff have come together to make this one of the New River Valley's signature community events.

Year after year, Festival in the Park brings our community together through:
