We had a great time hosting lunch with our friends at Old Orchard Place! Chief Gautier spoke to the group about scams in the area and exploitation of the elderly. Special thanks to Hope Harrell with the Pearisburg Junior Women’s Club for helping us out.

As a side note, Captain Mullins took a beating in a friendly game of Rummy.

Vehicle Safety Recalls Week is from March 2 – 8, 2026. Each year, millions of vehicles are recalled unbeknownst to the average vehicle owner. It’s so important that drivers stay current by regularly checking cars for recalls at NHTSA.gov/recalls and learning about the necessary steps to get their vehicles up to safety standards.

We encourage our partners to share the resources below with your communities on your agency's or organization's social media accounts.

Use our VIN lookup tool to check for recalls on your car, or search by make and model. Our databases also list car seats, tires, and equipment recalled for unreasonable safety risk or failing to meet minimum safety standards.
