Hello dear friends, just a quick update on closures provided by our friends with the Angeles National Forest. These closures include the trails at Devil’s Punchbowl, which, as you know, have a long road ahead before they can be assessed, stabilized, and deemed safe for your enjoyment. Please help us help you by avoiding burn areas and respecting safety orders. We miss you all greatly and look forward to seeing everyone again. Additional updates to follow as we learn more.

As many of you now know, the Devil's Punchbowl Natural Area was burned in the Bobcat fire. We are still investigating the extent of the damage but a majority of the park, including the nature center, has been destroyed. All staff and animal ambassadors were evacuated and are safe.
We ask that you please DO NOT visit the park at this time. LA County Parks has closed the park indefinitely due to safety concerns. The area is monitored and entering will result in trespassing citations.
Many of you have asked about donating and volunteering and at this time we are still assessing the situation. More information will be available soon and we will keep you posted. Thank you for all your support these past few weeks.

Devil's Punchbowl Natural Area and Nature Center are COMPLETELY closed until further notice because of COVID-19 issues. The entrance gate is locked and you cannot enter by car or foot. Call the Park Office at (661) 944-2743 for more information.
