Our brief period of (relatively) tranquil weather will be coming to an end today, as scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening. A few storms may become strong to severe and capable of producing isolated damaging wind gusts up to 60mph. Temperatures will be a tick lower today due to increased convective/cloud coverage but will still reach into the upper 80s to mid-90s.
