Our boy passed naturally 🤍

He was very loved during the short time he was with us. Someone suggested the name Amal, meaning Hope - so that’s what he was named.

Thank you all for your care and support.

Found this dog wheelchair on marketplace for $5! In our local area too!
Praise God!

I’m just testing things. This doesn’t mean it’s a fix to his problems or that it’s sustainable. His front legs aren’t strong enough to fully stand or be mobile right now. (I’m holding him up in the pictures). But maybe he’ll get there?
I’m taking it a day at a time.

Update: NEED MET. THANK YALL!!
He has a spinal injury. More than likely occurred from being in a pasture with multiple animals. He will never regain use of his back legs and the paralysis causes a lack in emptying his bladder. His prognosis isn’t great and the vet does recommend euthanasia.
I haven’t decided how to move forward at this time. He’s still very full of energy and such a happy goat but I have to reason with what quality of life he will have. For now, we will continue to care for and love on him.

This guy has so much fight in him.

I called the vet yesterday to schedule him and was told the bill was going to be around $300.
My first reaction was to transfer him to another rescue. We haven’t fundraised in over a year and a half. We don’t have that amount.
I’ve reached out to a few rescues, to no avail. So this morning - I scheduled him anyways.
He has an appointment at 11:30.

I get up every morning, put him in his sling, and this is what I see. A baby goat with an incredible will to live. A baby goat full of personality that just wants to play.

Can you spare $5 or $25 to go towards his vet bill?
I’m going to be real… the possibility of the Vet suggesting euthanasia is high. This guys not peeing and that’s terrifying. But I can not in good conscience, not give him a fighting chance.

This sweet boy just arrived a couple hours ago.

He has lost use of his back legs.
Sadly this isn’t the first time we’ve gotten in a goat with this issue.
We’re working extra hard to rule out the cause and hopefully get his abilities back.
This could occur from deficiencies, infection, injury, neurological, or even over feeding.

Hims so handsome and sweet though 💙

The first picture shows what was pulled out of this Leopard Geckos eyes. Although unfortunate circumstances, it’s pretty wild to see how much buildup was stuck behind such tiny eyelids, and rewarding to help this lil guy get relief and hopefully see again.

This leopard gecko came to us today with
- mouth rot
- necrotic tissue
- infection
- underweight
- and blind (hopefully temporarily until treatment completes)

He’s going to need a Vet visit and to be placed on a few different medications.
As always, we are a 501c3 Non-Profit and any donations are tax deductible and most importantly; help care for sick, injured, and orphaned animals.
This visit will cost approximately $150. Ways to donate are

Hi!

Baby season is picking up and I’d like to remind everyone that we are on a LIMITED case by case intake system.

We are expecting our little girl next month ♥️
Funds have also been tight with just $125 in donations received for the year 2025 so far. Which we are thankful for! So thankful for the support system we have had over the years and for the ones who have helped us with our over winters at the beginning of this year.

We are prioritizing injured wild adults and domestics (livestock and exotics). But please exhaust all other options first when it comes to infant wildlife that require around the clock feedings.

This is a stretchh… but is anyone up towards Catawba County (past Iron Station) today that can pick up two new born Goats?

Mom delivered 3 and rejected all 3. Only two have survived overnight. They’re not doing well.

We have a goat in milk. I’m willing to drive halfway and meet whoever
