🥬 Here's something worth bragging about at breakfast: Arizona grows more than 90% of the country's winter lettuce. When it's cold everywhere else, our farms are feeding the whole nation. The workers in those fields — up before dawn in cool desert air — are doing something essential and largely invisible to most of America. We see them. We're grateful for them. That's Arizona showing up for everyone. 🌵☀️

Gila County is quite diverse. The towns of Payson, Globe, and Miami, have distinct infrastructure and support systems. Smaller communities work a bit differently. There can be separate fire, sewage, water, and other systems that support the community that have their own boards and operating procedures. Those are voted on by the communities they support. Don't skip the down ballot items, they are your day to day support systems.

Propositions are citizen led efforts to support the community. There are two for Gila County and Payson AZ. One, Prop 425 is for Gila Community College to extend it's Expenditure Limitations. The other is a bond issue for Payson School District 10 to maintain the facilities and provide further safety measures. Neither will raise any taxes at all. Vote yes on both.
