It's with great sadness that we're sharing this. Our local LD-7 House Representative, Walt Blackman and his wife Kristie lost their son 3 days ago.

Walt has been a great Representative for our District and has fought for us in rural Arizona to be heard.

Now, we can help his family during this terrible time that no parent should ever have to go through. If you feel the need to donate, please do so. If not, please share. It is with great sadness that we are passing this along. Our house representative, Walt Blackman and his wife Kristie lost their son today. Please keep them in your prayers. This is a statement from them.

Statement from the Blackman Family on the Passing of Our Son, Daniel K. Blackman

It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that our family shares the passing of our beloved son, Daniel K. Blackman.

Daniel was deeply loved and brought strength, laughter, joy, and love to all who knew him. He was a cherished son, brother, family member, and friend whose presence touched countless lives. His absence leaves an immeasurable void in our hearts.

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we find peace and comfort in the restored gospel and in the eternal promise that through Jesus Christ, death is not the end. Though we grieve deeply, our faith reminds us that families are forever and that we will see Daniel again.

During this incredibly difficult time, we respectfully ask for prayers, compassion, and privacy as our family mourns and prepares to honor Daniel’s life and memory.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Our family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, kindness, prayers, and support we have received.

The Payson Tea Party is hosting a mayor and council forum on June 1st at Ponderosa Bible Church from 6pm-8pm.

All incumbents and candidates for Mayor and Council have confirmed attendance 👏

We're asking people to submit questions for consideration that will reveal all of the candidates positions on various town issues.

And then join us for this wonderful, eye opening experience on who the people who want our vote really are, and where they stand on important issues that affect our town!!

6 months ago today, the legendary Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a radical, left-wing terrorist for speaking up for what he believed in.

He left behind a loving wife and 2 children, who’ve been through hell, and are beautiful parts of his legacy undeserving of malicious, conspiratorial harassment.
