Chain of Lakes Soccer Club The Chain of Lakes Soccer Club was formed in 2003. We field three teams; a co-ed high school team, and a co-ed middle school team, and co-ed elementary.

The Chain of Lakes Soccer Club was formed in 2003 by three individuals representing Eden Valley/Watkins, Paynesville, and ROCORI school districts as a way to give students from those communities an opportunity to learn the game and play. Over the past thirteen years the club has seen many changes, growing at one point to over 70 players making up a high school boys, high school girls, and two midd

le school teams. Eventually ROCORI added soccer to their high school program. In the mean time Chain of Lakes Soccer began to attract players from Kimball, New London/Spicer, BBE, and home school students from as far away as Albany! Today we field three teams; a co-ed high school team, a co-ed middle school team, and a co-ed elementary team. Who do we play? Until two years ago we played other public high schools. However, when the Minnesota State High School League imposed new rules that no longer allowed club teams to play their high school teams. Since then we have been playing Central MN Christian School out of Prinsburg, Community Christian in Willmar, Christian schools from Cambridge, Milaca, home school teams from St. Cloud and Minneapolis, and this year adding a school from Hutchinson. In addition, the middle school team plays St. John's Prep. We are always looking for other schools to play. Each team plays approximately 10 games per season. We have an excellent facility to practice on in the City of Paynesville, at Ampe Park, on the east side of town.
