This week we trained on vehicle extrication. As Memorial Day approaches so does the 100 deadliest days of summer. The period between Memorial Day and Labor Day which is historically known for a spike in fatal traffic accidents involving teen drivers and children. During this period teen drivers are 3 times more likely to be involved in a fatal crash. Please drive safely.

We will be instituting a burn ban for Payette County including Payette City on June 15th. We will still be allowing recreational burns. Permits are required and are available at Payette City Hall.
