On Saturday, September 12th, we’re coming together for the Tunnels to Towers 5K Run & Walk, and we want our area firefighters to join us!
This is an opportunity for us to stand shoulder to shoulder as a fire service family—to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to support the first responders who put their lives on the line for others.

🔥 Mutual Aid Response at Partners Produce 🔥
On August 31, the Payette Fire Department responded to a fire at Partners Produce, involving one of their onion processing sheds.
We are incredibly thankful for the support of our neighboring departments who responded to assist our crews: Fruitland Fire Department, New Plymouth Fire Department, Weiser Fire Department, Gem County Fire Department , Nyssa Fire Department, Sand Hollow Fire Department, and Ontario Fire Department.
One of the most impressive aspects of this response was the water shuttle operation. The coordination, communication, and teamwork between all of the responding departments allowed crews to efficiently move water to the fire scene and maintain an effective water supply throughout the operation.
We are also proud to recognize that all of these departments are members of the Snake River Valley Training Association. The time these departments spend training together throughout the year helps build the relationships, communication, and trust that are so important when a large incident occurs.
This incident was a great example of what can be accomplished when departments work together.

Today, Payette Fire Department crews conducted ladder training operations as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining operational readiness and firefighter proficiency.
Regular hands-on training allows our personnel to strengthen essential skills, reinforce safe operating practices, and remain prepared to respond effectively to emergencies throughout our community.

Meet the newest member of the Payette Fire Department! 🚒💪
Our newest full time firefighter Kylee Decker is already putting in the work, spending time training alongside her new partner to build the skills, trust, and teamwork that make our department strong. From day one, it's all about learning, growing, and preparing to serve the Payette community with professionalism and dedication.

We're excited to have her on the team and look forward to watching her continue to grow in this career. Please join us in welcoming her to the Payette Fire Department family!
